How to get there

The Hotel Krone is located on Weinmarkt, in the heart of Lucerne's old town. The railway station and KKL are a 5-minute walk away, and the Swiss Museum of Transport is about a 10-minute drive away. Switzerland's major cities are only a short drive away: Zurich 65 km, Basel and Bern around 110 km each, Geneva 250 km, Chiasso 200 km. Zurich Airport can be reached in around 1 hour. Arriving by car

If you are using a satnav, enter the destination ‘Mühlenplatz’ and then follow the directions.

Follow the signs for ‘Luzern’ via the motorway to the city limits
Take the ‘Luzern Zentrum’ exit
Right lane (arrow marked ‘Gütsch’)
Turn right at the traffic lights and cross the Geissmattbrücke
After the bridge, turn right and drive through the narrow tower at St. Karlistrasse
After the wooden bridge, turn right onto Mühleplatz
Cross the square and turn right into the small street on the right-hand side
The second street on the left will take you directly to the Hotel Krone at Weinmarkt
